Private Class (One-on-One)

While practising yoga with others in a class situation is a great way to do yoga, there are many benefits from having a Private One-on-One Class which may not be available in a large-group situation. These benefits include practising at your own pace

  • Receiving a refined understanding of how to get in and out of postures safely and with good alignment. In a group situation, the overall pace of the group may prevent the teacher from stopping to give undivided attention to one student.
  • Customisation. Practise can be personalised to be responsive to your anatomy, level of practice, any special needs (such as prenatal, postnatal, any injuries, menstruation cramps, etc.), your age, gender (there are customised practices for men who are generally tight around the hamstrings and shoulders, and for women depending on where they are in the life cycle)
  • Yoga Therapy. Yoga has many therapeutic benefits, and there are many wonderful variations to poses (using props, as well as without props) that are beneficial as alternative relief for many different conditions, such as headaches, asthma, incontinence, scoliosis, neck injuries, hip and leg injuries, sports injuries, arthritis, osteo arthritis, hyper and hypo-tension, etc.
  • Exploring Universal Principles & Yoga Philosophy. If you are interested to go deeper on your practice, or you are wanting not just the physical practice, but a personal holistic development – and a progression in Consciousness and application of yoga “off the mat” and into your daily life – classes can, if included in your list of outcomes, include a deeper exploration of these concepts.

    Fee Structure

    A session runs for 1 hour 30 minutes.

    Private Classes (one-on-one) are $75 per session or $60 a class for 5 sessions ($300).

    Semi-Private Classes – This is a small group of at most 3 people which you can organise with family members or with friends. Classes are $40 per person per session, or $32 per person for 5 sessions ($160).
